Family Fued Turned to Bloody Fight Leading 7 Seriously Injured at Chopra

Webdesk, TNI Chopra, 23^rd July, 2017: Today in the morning in a tussle between two families regarding a Tea Garden Land dispute at least 7 people were injured after a clash broke out between the family members. All the 7 were admitted to Islampur SD Hospital.

The incident happened at Chopra’s Fekbasti area. It is alleged that Dhiren Roy and his family attacked his Cousin Niranjan Roy’s house. The injured are Maya Rani Roy, Sangita Nayek, Suravi Roy, Sima Roy and three others. All of them are family members of Niranjan Roy. 4 of them were serious and are transferred to NBMCH. A complaint has been lodged against Dhiren Roy. However, none of them were present in their house. The IC of Chopra PS Mr. Gautam Roy said that investigation is going on.
